Amy Priscilla Millan is a costume designer, illustrator, actor and dancer.
She was the costume designer for the premiere of preeminent Chicana playwright Cherrie Moraga’s Digging Up the Dirt, in collaboration with the Breath of Fire Latina Ensemble. Her most recent work includes the international premiere of Mexican playwright David Gaitan’s Leakages and Anticoagulants, directed by Rachel Park.
Past work includes Suddenly Last Summer directed by Kameron Steele, a long time collaborator with Tadashi Suzuki; Cloud 9, directed by Fernando Belo which was shown at the RITU Festival in Liege, Belgium; Richard II directed by Mary Lou Rosato.
Recent film credits are The Night Gaurdian and Surviving a Funeral. Performance credits include the part of Babette in Beauty and the Beast at Starlight Theater in San Diego.
She holds her MFA in Theater Design from California Institute of the Arts (2014).
