Elivia is a New York based costume designer working in theater and film.
Originally in pursuit of an acting career, she holds a BS in Musical Theater from Russell Sage College. Upon taking a theater design course during her freshman year, she discovered her true passion was to be a costume designer and has since worked diligently to gain experience and expertise in the world of design.
Most recently, Elivia completed her MFA in Costume Design from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale, she designed costumes for An Accidental Death of an Anarchist (co-production for Yale Rep/Berkeley Rep), Caryl Churchill’s Cloud 9, Shakespeare’s King Richard II, (Yale Drama School) and The Yiddish King Lear (Yale Cabaret). Prior to graduate school, she served as the resident costume designer for Russell Sage College.
In each new project, Elivia reinforces her work with her passion for excellence, and is determined to live life choosing to be joyful every day.
